GameFest 2010 Showcase
EMPAC Theater, May 11, at 5 p.m.
The School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences (HASS) will host GameFest 2010 on Tuesday, May 11, beginning at 5 p.m. In 2004, HASS celebrated the addition of the Game Studies minor by hosting a GameFest Symposium and Exhibition. Now an annual event, GameFest showcases computer games designed by more than 20 student teams. There is no fee for attendance or participation. Faculty from the Games & Simulation Arts area will select the games for exhibition from submitted entries. Student games will be exhibited and cash prizes will be awarded to the top five teams, by a panel of judges from Vicarious Visions. This is the second year that the event has been sponsored by Vicarious Visions.

The event will be held in the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) Theater. For more information, contact Dean Button, director of program development, at button@rpi.edu.
