Hockey player Chase Polacek, who recently earned his 100th career point for the Engineers, is in the running for the Hobey Baker Award, which is awarded to the best male collegiate hockey player. He is one of 68 players selected to the first round of voting.
Rensselaer fans can show their support for Polacek by voting online at www.hobeybaker.com/voting/. Fans can vote until March 7, when the field will be narrowed to the top 10 players with the most votes. Click on the “Vote for Hobey Baker” icon and follow the prompts to cast your vote for Polacek.
