CIPCE at Back-To-School Expo
Rensselaer’s Center for Initiatives in Pre-College Education (CIPCE) was one of 45 organizations that participated in the annual MVP Health Care Back to School Expo on Sept. 11.

Pictured on right, Logan Schell, a third-grader from the Schalmont Central School District, checked out one of CIPCE’s robots as Paul Schoch, associate professor of electrical, computer, and systems engineering and acting director of CIPCE, looks on. Launched nearly 13 years ago, CIPCE works with area K-12 teachers and students, as well as local, statewide, and national organizations, to promote the use of robotics in the classroom.
