On August 24, members of the Class of 2014 moved into their rooms in campus residence halls and began the next chapter of their lives as Rensselaer students.

According to the Office of Residence Life, Rensselaer has a strong commitment to the importance of a residential experience for students, placing great value on the significant social, educational, and relationship-building experiences it can provide. As such, Rensselaer requires that all first- and second-year students reside in Institute-owned or -leased residence halls.
