| EMPAC Presents Filament Oct. 1-3 |

In October, the Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) will present “Filament,” a festival of new work in performance, visual arts, sound, and media highlighting EMPAC’s mission to support international and national artists in the creation and production of work via its residency and commissioning programs. Events will include more than 15 premieres spanning theater, 24-channel sound, contemporary dance, video, and a barn-raising; exchanges with artists, curators, and creative engineers; and a dynamic archive of the artistic process.
The festival will take place Oct. 1-3 in multiple venues within EMPAC. A festival pass costs $35; individual ticketed events are $15/$10/$5; many events are free. To learn more, go to http://filament.empac.rpi.edu/.
