DiSanto Named AVP for Research Administration
Ginny Gregg, vice president for finance, has announced that Frank DiSanto has been named assistant vice president for research administration within the finance portfolio.

According to Gregg, DiSanto, formerly director of research administration and finance, has assumed the title for his contributions toward clarifying intellectual property, conflict of interest, commitment and IRB policies and procedures, and providing support to the vice president for research, provost, vice president for human resources and the Office of Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer and New Ventures; overseeing the submission of major proposals for constellation faculty and the ARL proposal; developing protocols and successfully submitting reports on new grants under ARRA guidelines; securing Rensselaer membership in the Federal Demonstration Project; and developing a university compliance oversight template that will facilitate the role of the vice president for research.

“Please join me in recognition of Mr. DiSanto’s current and future successes as we strengthen the research administration infrastructure to support our faculty’s research endeavors,” said Gregg.
