Green@Rensselaer Communications Effort Under Way
Green@Rensselaer, a communications campaign dedicated to publicizing programs in sustainability, energy, and the environment, is being launched by the Division of Strategic Communications and External Relations in cooperation with students, faculty, and staff members across the Institute.

Through a series of articles, Web postings, blog entries, podcasts, and videos, the program will examine the research, student initiatives, administrative efforts, and individuals at Rensselaer who are striving in different ways toward the shared goal of reducing society’s impact on the environment.

The campaign team will work closely with students, faculty, and staff members during the 2009-10 academic year to publicize the Student Sustainability Task Force, the Vasudha living and learning community, the New Clermont Project, other faculty and student research projects, and green-themed academic programs. Coordination of the campaign will be organized on a new Web site, at http://green.rpi.edu.

Ideas for green-theme Rensselaer stories, or information on a research program, student project, or event with a green focus, may be sent to mullam@rpi.edu.
