Summer@Rensselaer offers a plethora of credit courses, academic short courses, sports camps, and enrichment programs for elementary, middle school, high school and college students, adults, and working professionals. This year, in an effort to provide younger students with access to resources, mentorship, and an interactive experience in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, as well as creative writing and theater, up to 14 summer enrichment programs will be offered for elementary, middle school, and high school students. Two new programs include the Envision Product Innovation Academy for young women entering 12th grade in the fall, and the Video Production Summer Residential Workshop. Also, the popular Rensselaer Robotics Workshops, developed by the Center for Initiatives in Pre-College Education (CIPCE), will offer full- and half-day sessions. To date, 95 students are registered for enrichment programs and 450 Rensselaer students are registered for credit course offerings this summer. There are still openings in many of the day and residential enrichment programs.
