The Holiday Concert marks the beginning of a new tradition on the Rensselaer campus. It also marks the close of EMPAC’s Fall 2009 series of events and performances. Widely regarded as one of the finest professional vocal ensembles in the United States, the Antioch Chamber Ensemble is celebrating its 12th season. Under the leadership of founding Artistic Director Joshua Copeland, the ensemble has performed works ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary masterpieces with a core group of 10 to 12 of the New York metropolitan area’s finest singers. Tickets are required for the Holiday Concert. Admission is $10 for general admission and free for Rensselaer students, faculty, and staff (with appropriate identification; tickets limited to two per person). Parking for this event is available in the Rensselaer parking lot on College Avenue. Additional event information can be found on the EMPAC Web site, www.empac.rpi.edu, or by calling the EMPAC Box Office at 276-3921. |
