 Rensselaer’s 202nd Commencement ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 17, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Harkness Field. This year’s Commencement speaker is David Gergen. Gergen also will receive an honorary degree at the ceremony, together with distinguished molecular biologist and president of Princeton University Shirley Tilghman and veteran Marine Corps astronaut and space shuttle pilot Major General Charles F. Bolden Jr., USMC (Ret.). Closed-circuit television viewing will be available at various sites. The President’s Picnic for the Graduates will follow the Commencement ceremony.
