Rensselaer at Hartford students in the Industrial Process Management (IPM) cohort program received their “Lean Six Sigma Black Belt” certifications in a ceremony held Feb. 12 at the Hartford campus. Students in the IPM cohort participate in a unique educational program that enables engineers to simultaneously earn the certification along with a Rensselaer M.S. in Engineering Science degree. A work-related engineering project is an integral component of the program.
