The 11th Annual Student Appreciation Dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 25, in the Russell Sage Faculty Staff Dining Hall, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. “For the past 11 years, the community has come together at the Student Appreciation Dinner for the benefit of the Clothe-A-Child Campaign to recognize those students who are appreciated so much,” said Cynthia Smith ’96, assistant dean of students. “This event has collectively raised over $17,000 over the years so that about 170 local children whose parents would not otherwise be able to afford them will have winter coats, hats, gloves, and boots.”

Because the event is staffed by faculty and staff volunteers, and with support from Rensselaer Dining Services, which provides all the food for the dinner, all the money raised to sponsor appreciated students to attend the dinner goes directly to the Clothe-A-Child
campaign.

There are two ways to get involved:

• Volunteer to work kitchen duty, wait tables, wash dishes, coat check, or help with hospitality. Up to 40 volunteers are needed. Contact Cynthia Smith at smithc@rpi.edu as soon as possible if you would like to volunteer.
  
• Sponsor one (or more) student(s) to attend.
  

The cost is $10 for each reservation. Payment can be in the form of cash, personal check, or fund transfer. Contact Patti Mugrace for
