Student Sustainability Task Force
In an effort to address and discuss sustainability initiatives on the Rensselaer campus and nationwide, the newly formed Student Sustainability Task Force held a three-day conference on campus Jan. 28-30.

More than 300 students, faculty, staff, administrators, and members of the local community attended the program, titled “What’s Your Vision? Changing the Climate at RPI.” The conference focused on topics related to recycling, composting, and renewable energy.

The event was held in conjunction with Focus the Nation, the largest teach-in in U.S. history involving more than 1,000 colleges and universities in all 50 states.
