Lambda Chi Alpha Honored

The Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity at Rensselaer received multiple awards at its international conference, held in July at the Arizona Biltmore. The chapter took top honors for its recruitment program and campus involvement. Additionally, the Rensselaer chapter was one of a handful to win the “Grand High Alpha Challenge,” a series of seven goals put forward by the fraternity’s international president a year ago. Lambda Chi Alpha at Rensselaer demonstrated superior operations in recruitment, academics, campus involvement, brotherhood development, and values-based educational programming. Only five of the more than 200 Lambda Chi Alpha chapters across North America achieved the “gold level,” the highest distinction of excellence. The president of the chapter, John Edward Cullen ’09, was presented a ceremonial gavel by international fraternity president Edward Leonard in recognition of winning the challenge.
