Cameron McLean, activities coordinator for the Rensselaer Union, was honored by the Class of 2008 at the Zero Year Reunion Brunch and Awards Ceremony on May 12. McLean was presented with the Dedication and Devotion Award.
“This individual has been the heart and soul of our Rensselaer experience,” said Elizabeth Kelley ’08, senior week chair, before announcing the award. “From our very first Activities Fair our freshmen year, to our class ring, to our Senior Week, this person has guided us through hundreds of programs and events with compassion and unending patience. She has touched each and every one of our lives whether or not we realize it. You are experiencing her hard work and devotion as you sit here at our Zero Year Reunion Brunch. I could easily go on for hours about why she deserves this award for reasons many of you also know but I will not be able to hold back the tears for much longer.” McLean is pictured with Trent Gillaspie ’08.
