Fall Sports Athletes Honored for Academic Achievement
The 2007 Liberty League Fall All-Academic Team has been announced and 90 Rensselaer student-athletes have been honored. Student athletes must have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with a minimum grade point average of 3.20 to be selected. The fall sports include men’s and women’s cross country, field hockey, football, men’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, and women’s tennis.

“Our student-athletes never cease to amaze,” says Kevin Beattie, acting athletic director and sports information director. “For them to accomplish so much academically and athletically is a real tribute to their work ethic, dedication, and desire to succeed. These attributes will certainly assist them in being tremendously successful in their future endeavors.”
