Our Mission

Institute Advancement will enhance Rensselaer’s reputation and promote a significantly elevated quality and scale of life-long relationships to move constituents to extraordinary levels of support for Rensselaer’s strategic goals and priorities.

Institute Advancement plans, coordinates, and implements fundraising and relationship building programs with Rensselaer students, alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations. Private gifts allow the University to fund programs, scholarships, fellowships, professorships, research, campus renovations, and new facilities.

Guided by the comprehensive strategy mapped out in The Rensselaer Plan, we have launched Renaissance at Rensselaer: The Campaign for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The campaign sets a bold and ambitious goal - $1.4 billion - to shape the future of Rensselaer.
