After receiving Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering under the guidance of Professor Tim Lodge at the University of Minnesota, and working with Professors Ed Kramer and Glenn Fredrickson as a postdoc in the Materials Research Laboratory (MRL) at UCSB, I joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Assistant Professor in the Chemistry Department in 2000 and was promoted to an Associate Professor in 2006.
