Composite Converter

Problem: Connecting to a legacy Television
EX:oh man, my atari outputs composite but the tv only takes in coax. bummer.
Solution : Broken Vcr Parts
snag a broken vcr (or a combo player) from the streets, loading dock or whathave you. theres plenty use for the innards, so grab one

Part 1:
Getting The Goods
Find a broken vcr, or discarded vcr, its full of cool stuff. (almost everything you would need to build a pirate tv station)

2.whats what Ok, so again i didnt get to take any pictures till i was done. so here goes, the large metal box with 2 coax outputs, its an upconverter, modulating a composite video signal up to vhf. on older vcr's its litterally 4 i/o sticking out of the bottom, one ground, one 5v power, one audio in, one composite in. Trace the lines from the remains of your discarded vcr, ground should be easy to find
3: tacking it together  theoretically this can all fit in an altoids tin. at the time of construction, i just wanted to see if it would work. i should probably put up a schematic. the diagram is kinda self explanitory.
4: Making it work   Here's an shot of the underside. these pics were taken with a real camera. thanks chris.
