The Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is the preeminent society for applied mathematics. Of interest is their Undergraduate Page, which contains information related to employment, profiles of mathematicians in industry, and math related links.
The Mathematical Association of America is the world's largest organization devoted to collegiate mathematics. They provide information on math competitions, including the Putnam Exam. You can also find an essay on a math majors job search, and Mathematicians at Work are essays in which women and men with mathematics backgrounds describe the ways in which their training in mathematics impacts upon their work.
